Scoring
- Earn 2 points for correctly predicting whether a character is alive or dead at the end of the show
- Earn 1 point for correctly predicting the episode in which a character dies and remains dead
- Earn 1 point for correctly predicting if a dead character will become a wight
- Lose 1 point for incorrectly predicting if a dead character will become a wight
- You only gain or lose points for a character's wight status if you select "Becomes Wight" on your ballot. By not selecting this option, you will not be penalized if that character does become a wight.
Clarifications
- If a character who is alive at the beginning of Season 8 and is alive at the end of the show (regardless of what happens to them during the course of Season 8), that character will count as "Alive".
- If a character dies multiple times during Season 8, only their final death will count.
- If a character on the original ballot does not appear at all during Season 8, then that character will be eliminated from consideration.
Rules
- Each individual may submit up to 2 prediction ballots.
- The cost to participate in this pool is $10 for the first ballot, and $15 for the second ballot. Ballots that are submitted but not paid for will not be counted.
- All ballots and payments must be received no later than 8 PM EDT on Sunday, April 14th Please note the deadline has been extended
- Scores and ballots will become publicly visible by 8:30 PM EDT on Sunday, April 14th
- If an individual has 2 ballots active during the event, only the ballot with the higher score will be considered.
- The individual who has the ballot with the highest total points at the end of Season 8 will be the winner and receives the sum of all money collected as a prize. If multiple individuals are tied, then the tie-breaker question will determine the winner. If there is still a tie after the tie-breaker, the prize will be split evenly among all individuals who have the tied winning score.
How to Play
Fill out one or two ballots on this website, and submit your ballot payment to Dom DiGioia.
Once all the ballots are received, all ballots and their points will be displayed, as well as a character list on this website. Every effort will be made to update the character status live during each airing, however all status updates will be completed by 8 AM EDT the Monday following each airing.
